Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Guys. This is just a hypothetical question.

Can an employer refuse to accept your doctors certificate stating that you are healthy to return to work after an illness? Can they refuse to allow you back if their company doctor says that you are not fit?

    Ty

they have the right to verify your fit for work.

As far as I'm aware, if you're signed off as unfit to work and something happens to you on-site, you will not be covered via insurance policies etc so if a Company doctor says you're not fit to work, I'd imagine an employer would refuse to allow you back.

    Thanks guys,
So if your own doctor is not been listened to, why do you need to send in social welfare certs and sick notes from him? Surely the company doctor should certify you off work???
