does your profile have to be changed, downwards to be ready for FIBRE?

    This has me foxed, VF had an item about 24mb upgrade on their board and asked for details to be PM'd. I did that but my profile has been reduced ie sync at 6144 was 7616 and upload is now 512 but was 672!!

    Is this necessary for FIBRE ie a change of profile to ensure consistency??

    I am not very happy as it may be a long time before Fibre appears.

    No - thats not right and no need for profile change downwards for NGA.

    Will you post here and the lads will look at it?

    I can only assume its eircom doing some work and I got lumbered. Curious as its close to the fibre roll out but that may take ages to reach me.

    yeah checked again and I am locked at 6144 and 512.
