    My bank current is different than my balance available why is this ... I know I don’t owe any direct debits

    Did you purchase anything recently with your debit card? Balance = what's available to spend + any incoming purchases.

    Debit card purchases don't appear instantly, but banks often put a hold on the amount in question so that it can't be spent before the transaction comes through.

    no it has never being used iv set it up for fas and have being getting paid a month and a half no problems

    Easiest thing to do is ask your bank.

    Pending transactions could be:

    Payments made on your card at POS
    Payments made online/on the phone
    Cheques clearing inwards

    Ask your bank.
