I got a pair of Karrimor Tempo 2s size 10 without much research when I started running on the roads for the first time back in January but have had recurring knee trouble which I have seen a physio for and I think better runners would help prevent the problems coming back. I am a size 9.5 and also have fallen arches.

Can someone please recommend a pair of runners that would suit me?

Would recommend going to a reputable running/sports shop and having gait analysis

Amphibian King are in Bray,Ballymount and Galway
    Brehon Sports,Cashel
    Alfie Hales,Waterford
    Buckleys,Cork.

I would be steering away from Elverys,Lifestyles etc.. for gait analysis. Can be very hit and miss.

They have a tendency of recommending whatever they have in stock in your size rather than getting something in for you.

Runways on Parnell St. in Dublin are good. Stick with the specialist shops and be patient as they may have to order in for you (particularly if you're gifted with a large foot like myself)
