Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I tried to update my jailbroken Ipod touch to the latest IOS tonight, I assumed it would just over write the jailbreak, but now its stuck on the boot screen (the apple logo) its just keep flashing on and off and never gets past it, I have tried resetting it and plugging it into itunes, it recognises it at first and says its in recovery mode and needs to be reset, but when I click ok it just goes back into the boot loop .

    Any suggestions ?

That's holding the home button and power button together isn't it? I have been doing that, and it shows the usb connector and iTunes icon on screen, but when I plug it into iTunes and click restore it just goes back to the apple logo screen.

I got it fixed, I downloaded redsnows jailbreak tool and used the exit recovery mode feature. Phew thought I had bricked it

Kind of but not really. It's power for 3 seconds then both for another 10 and then let go of the power while holding the home button for a further 5/6 seconds
