Pan/Skillet Material

So I'm looking for advice with regards buying a new pan...How do you pick one? Seen one made of aliminum, for like 30€, good value or not ? I'll be using it for omelettes, stir fry's and steak...now I know there are probably specific type pans for each, but I'm trying to budget and streamline the amount of stuff I own.…

A bog standard heavy iron pan is what you're after, you cna get a "240mm De Buyer branded "clean" one for about €20 form nesbitts.

Or a 350mm Black Iron Vogue branded one for €20

You'd have to season them before using them though.

Beyond that, a decent Tefal pan will do exactly what you're looking for to be honest.
