Do common domestic doves look a bit like Pidgeons? I ask as over the last few days a pair of what I think are doves have built a nest in one of the trees in my garden - do doves build nests ? They only around last few days but are crapping all over the place and lot of branches and foliage on the tree is getting broken

Yeah they do look a bit like pigeons. We have 2 pairs that come for food every day.
