I have 30k to spend on a new car, Nissan Qashqai 4x4 1.6Dci SVEwith mettalic paint, sat nav and 500 fuel card is coming in at 29500. Im about to go with this, but is it a good offer? What other cars would challenge it as this price point?

Correct re the handbrake, on the left on both LHD and RHD models.

4wd suffers from poorer economy and also weakens performance. If I was in the market Id be looking at a 2wd Kia Sportage. Lovely styling and apparently quite a decent machine from reviews.
