    Soundworks are good - http://soundworks.ie/

Communication is excellent. They always get back to you - in a timely manner.

I've emailed / phoned a number of other sound hire places in the past and they don't even bother to get in touch.

What do you need ?-I know of some musicians who also rent equipment which is top notch as in Martin and EV systems and they are cheaper than the big guys.
Let me know if you need details

There are two in Dublin/Wicklow that I would recommend. http://pgsl.ie http://www.eventtechnology.com/. These companies are not like avcom, session hire etc. These companies are more personal. They only have 2/3 engineers that they use so more than likely you will keep getting the same engineer over and over again who will know exactly what you need. They have small and big PA's. They can accommodate anything you need. Highly recommend!

These guys are in Clontarf - I used to get PAs off them.

Hi, does anyone know a place where I can hire line-arrays and possibly digital desks for reasonable money?
    Cheers

Well any of the higher end companies will hire them out. But for items like that I'd not expect them to be cheap.

Any decent ground stack will cover most shows unless flying them is needed. Extra cost in trussing etc will be expensive and normally this would not be a dry hire so your into paying for crew. Digital desks are pretty common for most of the larger sound hire companies. Not all of them do the entire range but will stick to their trusted desk and have maybe a few versions of the same make.

Check out Murt Whelan sound he always has some very nice pa setups posted on facebook that are done digitally, not sure about pricing but give him a buzz and see what the story is.
