I'd also be curious to find out if there is an upgrade plan for my exchange in the coming months/years.

    Hi Headshot

I checked the update NGB roll-out list 07/05/13 and spoke to the efibre team. I am afraid there is still no indication as to when the Golden exchange may be upgraded.

Sorry it was not better news.

    Mark

    I dont care about NGB

Surely ye can upgrade the backhaul of the exchange, its ridiclous to have only less than 3mb broadband in this day of age

    Hi Simi,

Not sure if you have seen my PM

    Hi Simi

As you are with another provider. I am unable to check your line / connection directly.

However I checked neighbouring lines with the eircom service and you are connected to the -

    SHLA
    Exch. Code
    [RSU] STRANDHILL E10

    Sligo

I confirmed the exchange has a maximum bandwidth of 8Mb.

However our broadband networks team are unable to give an indication as to if or when NGB or ADSL2+ "up to 24MB" Might be available I'm afraid.

    Thanks, Mark
