    Hi all
Had been using imo as a one stop solution for IM (Facebook, GTalk, Skype) but recently its lost the ability to login to Skype.
They're Facebook page confirms it's not just me :-D
Just wondering anyone has found a decent alternative to imo, which can login to Skype.
Just in case they won't be supporting it in the future.

    Cheers

    HB

    What about Skype itself?

Facebook chat I would say can be done from the Facebook app and Google Talk is now called Hangouts.... (and is the best of all imo!)

Cheers but as I started, am looking for an all in one solution, rather than having to switch between programs

Welcome to the world of "unified communications", with everyone walling off their own garden :(

I asked about this recently http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056951914 OP and was recommended Gibberbot. Not sure about Skype integration (doubt it) and haven't had a chance to mess around with it yet.

Nope, Gibberbot uses Jabber, Bonjour and Google.

MS bought skype and turned it into ad central and began spying on chat. They wont get ad revenue if you use a third party app so its in their interest not to allow external clients.
