Remove Programs menu from Windows XP

    I want to be able to remove the 'Programs Menu' which contains accessories/remote assistance/windows media player etc from windows XP.does anybody know how to do this?

    If you just want to delete the links you can go to c:\documents and settings\username\start menu

    In there you can modify the layout or remove shortcuts, you may also need to take a look in c:documents and settings\all users\start menu for some items.

    how do i remove 'Taskbar and start menu' from the settings menu in windows xp?

    Are you trying to completely restrict access to an individual on a user account?
