I need a technician to set up a wireless network...

Hi,

DOES ANYONE HAVE A CONTACT FOR A CISCO WIRELESS PERSON OR SIMILAR ?

I have a software programe for running large live poker tournaments.

The programe runs on one local server (a laptop). There is usually about 12 other laptops and 12 ipods all transfering data via wifi to and from the server. I'm having terrible connectivity issues with the system that I'm using at the moment.

Does anyone know where I begin trying to find a technician who can look at the system and either get it working properly or advise me on the equipment needed for it to work? I'll probably need the techie to help set it up.

To start with, connect your laptop ( the "server" ) to your router with a cable

If all the crew are sitting around a table or similar, you could get something like this :

and hook as many of the laptops up with a cable as possible.

A better wireless access point might help with the load, the ones supplied are often just about adequate for just a few people using it
