Hi i am wondering when i am looking at the history in the lap top it says"remove selected items" if i select an item and remove it from history were does it go ?

It goes nowhere windows ignores the file,item or whatever,the data remains on the disk.

Is this in an internet browser or Windows history or where? Did you remove a single item from the history, or the entire history? If the former, it almost certainly won't be recoverable.

Is this from your internet history? What browser are you using? Not sure you can recall them once you have deleted them.
