Unlocking devices at end of contract?

I have a Samsung Galaxy 2 which I upgraded from at the end of my contract. I then renewed my contract and received a new handset. Will it be locked to my service provider? (three) If so, am I entitled to have it unlocked by them seeing as this particular handset is out of contract. Thanks

Yeah, just phone them. It might take a few days to get the unlock code. If you need it faster there are probably apps in the market that you can download which will unlock it, just do a bit of reading up on it first.
