Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right, I nearly freaked out today when i thought i'd lost my only key to my bike had to drive the cage to work and I'm not doing that again. Can anyone tell me can i just get another key cut or do i have to go to a specialist to get one cut? It's a 2005 honda cbf btw.

    Bluefinger,

Assuming its an ordinary key without electronics, you will probably be able to buy a blank from a honda dealer and get a new key cut by a lock shop/key cutting service.

thanks for the reply alfonzito. I assume there's no electronics involved but i understand that many keys these days are not as simple as they appear.

Does it say H.I.S.S. around the ignition key hole?

Could bring the current key to an car key cutting place and they might be able to see if its sending any disarm codes (though mightn't be able to program a blank, depending what it sends)

I needed a new key for my Honda Steed (Non-HISS) and went to THESE guys. They had Honda blanks under the counter. Think they might have blanks for other bikes too. Handy f you are in Dublin.
