    Does anyone know if they are getting a cinema release in Ireland? I had a quick google but turned up nothing definite. Thanks.

    They're definitely on in both the Lighthouse and IFI from Friday.

    Be warned that the weekend's IFI screenings of Totoro will be dubbed, but the rest subbed.

    booked the lighthouse dubbed for saturday. thanks, thought id never see totoro on the bigscreen! i only wish ghibli would show some of the museum only shorts in the cinemas in this side of the world. very few people from this side of the world will ever make it to the ghibli museum in japan. i might drop miyazaki an email.

    On in the IFI too as mentioned above.

    Caught Friday's double-bill. What can I say other than that they remain a pair of the finest films ever produced, anime or otherwise.
