WW2 Luftwaffe crash in Curracloe?

    Did a German Luftwaffe plane crash in the sea a few hundred metres off Curracloe beach during WW2?

    Someone told me that this happened. I'm not sure if it's true.

    So Annelida, thank you for your contribution, which so far has consisted of various questions and no further discussion or wish for debate. Just one line threads which require answers, which I suspect are for a thesis / project as hinted at above by another poster.

    So a plane crashed in Curracloe during WW2, the people of Wexford appeared at the crash site looking like Vikings, they had originated in Wexford Town and they said to the pilot "Howya hun, your ma has ya lookin' queerin' deadly"

    Then they all went home

    Thesis finished

    I wouldn't have a problem with it being a thesis although I don't see why the OP couldn't just come out and say it.
    A thesis is about research, no restrictions on where you do that research. Good, lateral thinking IMO. :)

    its half true. plane crashed near shore but north of blackwater .if you need to know more you could ask some of the guys who fish whelks out of wexford they know where it is
