Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can I prune the roots of container grown California lilac?

I've had a lilac in a big pot for a few years now. We've had a lot of rain and now the water is just sitting on the top of the container, so I'm guessing the roots have gotten very big and are taking up most of the container. I can top dress with soil but only by another inch max. I'm just wondering if it'd be ok to prune the roots later in the year when it's finished flowering or if doing so would kill it. The pot is very big and I've not seen a bigger one so repotting isn't an option. Any advice would be appreciated.
