Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Permission change on apps

In the Play Store when an app had a permission change, I (and I assume everyone else) had to manually approve that app to update, which was right and proper. I had 4 or 5 apps which I refused to update because of some permission changes that I didn't agree with and these were always listed under the Manual Updates heading in the Store.
I noticed yesterday that all of these apps are now listed with others in the Updates section, I no longer have a Manual Updates section.
Have Google removed the requirement for permission changing apps to be manually approved?

    is your phone rooted?

If so LBE privacy guard is your friend, (although if you running JB it can cause a boot loop so XDA have a link to the chinese version that works perfect.)

It allows you to block apps from permissions (angry birds and location for example)

No, you will get a pop up of the permissions.

This is correct, you still have to manually approve it when it tries to update.

If you're running 4.3 you can now manually disable individual permissions in the apps.
