Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Heaslip is playing brilliantly. Hitting tons of breakdowns and making lots of yards

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,998 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Serious amount of advantage given there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Very long advantage. Lacey is horrible.

Ah FFS, it wasn't that long. It was a penalty advantage, Leinster definitely didn't have advantage.

Healy knew what he was doing, he was illegally preventing afoa from getting involved in defense.

no way was that ever a red.

For multiple punches and stamping on a prone player, yes, I think it could easily have been red.
Healy was illegal, but that's no excuse.

I never want to see lacey again. Ever.

Healy was in the wrong but punching should never ever be allowed like some people are suggesting

    Has to be a yellow!

Nacewa to see yellow for the high tackle.

He hasn't been great, but he's not why Ulster are losing.

That De Villiers quote about tutus comes to mind!

Madigan-esque break from Jackson there. Very exciting!

Really feel for poor Isa though, deserved the yellow unfortunately.

    Nice break by Jackson there

The PDV quote about tutus after the Burger incident in 2009

Great game, don't know how anyone isn't enjoying it.

Referee is poor, but between the penalties, its a great intense rollercoaster of a game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Brilliant from Bowe there. Fair play

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,998 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Healy threw the Hollywood ball, great kick ahead by Pienaar, Madigan dithers. Ulster tails are up

    Ridiculous he wasn't held

    Of course he was held

He was tackled and brought to ground, you can't get up again, you need to release the ball straight away.

    Poor call on Madigan.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,998 ✭✭✭leakyboots

BOD has been poor, trying to do it on his own

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Terrible decision from Conway to slip there. Blame Lacey.

Lol, he actually tried to present the ball on the ground before getting up again and running, of course he was held

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,234 ✭✭✭trouttrout

    Poor call on Madigan.

It wasn't. He was tackled to the ground, held, and tried got back up again illegally. Text book penalty really, don't know how people are disputing it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,998 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Lots of holding off the ball going on, mainly from the blue side, need to focus on the game

No when e put him on the ground as soon as he put him down he released him he didn't hold him
I can't see that as being held

They don't know the laws and want Leinster to win.

    Poor call on Madigan.

Yes he should have been yellow carded for a professional foul in not releasing the ball. knew exactly what he was doing.

    He did, he clearly did

It is. He was held and brought to ground, that's enough.

You don't have to hold them on the ground post-ELVs, you just have to ensure you bring them to the ground.

    It was a fair penalty.

Tackler has to release the tackled player, tackled player has to place or let go of the ball. Bowe let go of Madigan. Madigan did not let go of the ball. All he had to do was let go of the ball, get to his feet and pick it up again. He did have to let go of it though.

Very good second half anyway, and perhaps I was wrong about the first :P

Rory Best! Get that man to Oz!

The man there instead of him, Hartley, got red carded and told a ref he's a f**king cheat apparently.

That said, Best's lineouts were poor when the focus was on him.
