No need for picks as such. We will know when we are there and just balance them as we are.

if we did the 3 goal rule that wouldn't be fair, the teams could be overall balanced and one team goes three up before the other makes a comeback, or you could have it where one team is dominating but hitting wide/being saved while the other team then scores 3 on the hop.


some players have good weeks and bad weeks,new players, injuries...etc so sorting it out up there is probably best, we should have two sets of bibs soon so if we go red V bibs i agree with that as we'll have two people bringing bibs (in case one bib guy/girl is unable to be there)

i know as a player i am a bit random, sometimes i hit it right sometimes it comes off the boot and goes flying off in the wrong direction (or into my own net )
but then i joined this to have some fun not be the next van persie! :pac: so i know i'm one of the weakest, but i hope to impove over the next few weeks bit by bit,

Re the 3 goal thing, I was just thinking out loud there. Three goals ahead isn't as easy as yeer implying though, in the first half yesterday we were absolutely battered and there was still only a 5 goal difference by the time the teams were changed.

I'd just like to have a system with a bit of impartiality in it, it's tricky to arrange teams by hand, like after the changeover yesterday we were still by far the weaker team

Ok. 3 spots left. They will be held for regulars until Tuesday ie someone who has played once or more already. If by say lunchtime Tuesday we don't have 12 the floor is open again to newcomers.

Is that a fair way of working it?

The "rule" is regulars have first choice. If we are not full by Tuesday, the remaining places are open to whoever.

so we wear red and ill bring the bibs, all clean.... i washed the bag too, i didn't see the point of putting the clean bibs in the cloth bag they had just come out of smelly. :pac:

side note:i just thought of if anyone has allergies to certain washing powders (its a thing! i'm allergic to crushed silk and jasmine bold powder) i used Fairy non bio tabs and comfort softener (the sensitive white one).

I went into the clubhouse and paid the €50 to the grey haired man who was over by the astroturf earlier lads. There's now €30 in the kitty.

Enjoyed the game thoroughly. The teams were quite well balanced.
