Yeah Bruff and Morgan let everyone know in advance that they'd be gone, so its not really on to "drop" them. Of course if someone just stops showing that's a different story.

Also, "no more new people" would cause problems in the future. People get bored, or they get new work hours, or other stuff comes up. Eventually we will need to find replacements for some of the current regulars, and we're only just about filling monday as is.

And that's exactly what happened to Dimitry/Adver456. Just stopped showing and didn't let us know what was happening so if he comes back he's back at the bottom of the list.

I do think we should probably put, say, a 4 week limit to being away - or maybe something like more than 4 no-shows out of 8 weeks or is that complicating things?

I've just added everyone up, brain is fried so check yerselves if ye think it's wrong, on attendance figures alone and here's how it looks

Out of 17 weeks of Thursdays:

Bruff/N2L 9

As we can see here Paul, Ger and Declan will overtake Bruff if they show up for the next games so Bruff would be, if we go with attendance based rank, first sub and tfh would be 2nd sub. While Bruff is away tfh is first choice sub so it's quite likely he'll get a couple of games before Bruff returns.

Consistency is what keeps games alive and I can't think of any fairer way than using consistency to decide who gets to play. People will leave and get injured so those on the fringes will end up getting in.

This is Tom's proposal for building the kitty faster by booking games in advance.

Hi guys, it costs €50 a pitch per night & there are 2 games running Mon 8pm - 9pm & Thur 7pm - 8pm. If we book & pay for 6 pitches in advance they will only charge €250 not €300 so we are saving €50 every 3 weeks, this can be put into the kitty.

There is a kitty of €110 at present & if we use that + Mon 30th Sept €60, Justin has volunteered to put the balance €80 in to pay the €250 in advance. Justin will recoup his €80 from the weeks of Thur 3rd Oct €60 & Mon 7th Oct €20 with the balance €30 going into the kitty for the next time.
Nothing will change for people as regards players paying €5 per person per game.
As you can see from below it will take a few weeks to work through to have a floating kitty again.

This is just an approximation of what the money will be for the nights.

Enjoyed that! No goals for 20 mins and then we went 3 up and ye ran away with it. I'd say we'd have gotten a few back if we'd had an extra 10 minutes. We'll move to the middle pitch and squeeze an extra 10 minutes out of it next week I reckon. I have your ball in the car HW.
