Footballs Going Missing.
Lads another brand new ball was nabbed last night that had gone over into the GAA grounds. I'd say I've replaced approximately 7/8 footballs in the last 10/12 weeks at €12 euro a pop with most of them being nabbed. Footballs being lifted is making a serious dent in our beer money. I think we need to get tough with ourselves on the 'go get it' rule but it's up to all of us to enforce it.

Can we make sure if anyone is any doubt of making it to let the lads know as early as possible to give them a chance to slot in as there's been a few 6 on 5 games recently as it ruins the game and the lads on stand by miss out

Yep, a no-show effectively destroys the dynamic of the game for the 11 other lads who've shown up.

Also, lads on standby would be best to PM me their mobile number so I can get a hold of them with a definitive answer before it gets too late.

As for the no-shows, well, the person who let us down a number of times on Thursday late last year has been excluded from the Thursday game for good - we just don't tolerate it. One no-show is bad, twice and you're gone.
