    We replaced our immerion unit near the end of last year.

    All has been working perfectly until this week, i've noticed that the immersion could be on for between 1-2 hours but when you go for shower the hot water lasts for approx. 5/10 mins....

    Any ideas what could be wrong??

    Possibly thermostat is faulty
    Search the forum for immersion stat

    look at the stat first alright


    -possible bad connection maybe
    -worth checking for a drip or leak also

    you'd know if the tank was filling all the time

    sounds like the sink and bath elements are connected the wrong way around
