so this evening in tramore was that a navy boat? or was it a poor invasion attempt by pirates of the gray seas? Either way seeing a big boat in the bay put the vastness of it in to great perspective, there is an awful lot of under utilized surface area going on there.
the surf schools have the shore line all tied up with the churning out of fully certified, bits of paper and all surfers but the rest of it why is there no one using it. simple boat rides, sailing tours or even large pools placed around the bay using nets, big nets. this week has proven that whales love tramore, they might even love the metalman, it was only trying to get a better look by getting into the net. so we should provide some enticement to the whales to stay and to be joined by some dolphins, a rare spotted kind would be best and when we can get the EU funding through for the metal net cage, hmm cage mightnt be the best word for the glossy brochures, im sure theres someone out there who can come up with untrue words of a brochure. in the metal fencing place sharks, a couple of cool sharks like a hammer head. maps produced showing the route around the wildlife on a key ring or a fridge magnet, just think of the spin offs, swim with nature, kayak tours, ride a whale....some people cant resist the look in a whales eye and these people pay big money.....
point being, if we had our own sea world, that locals could help out with the initial funding and then have the right apply for a card once they live in a defined geographical area to get in a few euro cheaper we would be so much more safe from fearful rouge pirates and defiantly be safer from economic collapse.
    so was that the navy?
