Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does the ombre hair colour work on already coloured hair? Should your hair be its natural colour before using it?

    I wouldn't chance it.

From my own experience with box hair dyes, when your hair has already been colored it NEVER turns out the color that's on the box of the home dye.

So I wouldn't chance it, especially with a dip dye.

It would probably make your hair lighter alright, unless your hair has already been dyed very dark. but depending on your colour now, you could end up with ginger ends rather than blonde.

I bleached the ends of my dyed brown hair so I could put pink dye on the ends. Now the pink is gone, the ends are everything between reddy-orange and blonde. I like the different tones but not everyone would, and it does wreck your hair.

I wouldn't say not to go for it, but you probably won't get the results on the box unless you do it a few times, which would be quite damaging.
