The singer and actor has never been in a cool film or released a cool song or played a cool character in a movie. He could have been, he was offered the part in Django but turned it down because it wasn't the lead.

Hitler had charisma. Yeah, I went there

I know it's all a matter of opinion, but I (respectfully) couldn't disagree more!

He was excellent (and cool) as Ali, Agent J, Hitch, the Fresh Prince and even in Bad Boys. He was powerful in Enemy of the State, Pursuit of Happyness and carried I Am Legend.

Independence Day was (and is) a cool popcorn film! ;)

And as for songs... 'Summertime' is one of the all-time coolest summer songs!

    :D

Anyone know who Graham has on this week?

Friday night is primarily a night to kick back and relax after a long week. You want to be entertained and unfortunately RTE haven't a clue how to do that. I tune into The Late Late once a year for the toy show because I have kids and that's about it. Graham Norton gets top notch guests and everything is upbeat.

You'd have a hard time cherrypicking bits from the late late to make it look good/exciting though.

Oh come on now. What about that time when......

Well what that time when Ryan said.....

I'm going to have to do some serious research...

Excellent film. To be fair, the film didn't need Will Smith but he just happened to be a white hot property at the time.

Special effects in the film still look great. They did a fantastic job of portraying the sheer immensity of the space ships.

    Racist! :pac:

The GN Show is a great way to get the weekend going as it does be a colourful and upbeat show where the guests look like they're having the craic, plus most times it tends to be hilarious.

The LLS looks like something that's more suited to a Sunday night, a dark and very slow paced show that makes you feel dread of having to start the next day with another week of work.

The LLS could never compete with GN's guests but they really could do better than nobodies, z-listers, and then whenever an A-lister comes Tubridy just asks them how they're connected to being Irish.

It's cringeworthy watching A list celebs on the LLS like we're all grateful that we're there. It's also embarrassing when Tubs tries to go off the script with them. Who remembers the time Tubridy tried to get to the bottom of that whole Iraq thing with Tony Blair?

LLS would do well to be much more about showcasing genuine Irish talent in a variety of fields who could do with the boost. When's the last time the LLS gave a platform to another Kevin McAleer? At least BOC has the actual Kevin McAleer on once in a while.

"Summertime" is about as cool as Ice Ice Baby.
Independance day is enjoyable. Possibly the cheesiest movie ever made. But definitely not cool!
Pulp Fiction = Cool. Independence Day = not cool
Ice Cube, It was a good day = cool. Will smith, Summertime = not cool
    :D

think difference between LLS and GNS can be emphasized with how they worked with Cuba Gooding Jr
    Graham Norton:

    Late Late Show:

    (couldn't find the full interview)

All fur coat and not much else on bgt results show. I know it was on after 9 but as there was a lot of kids on it and as it's mid term break in uk it was a bit inappropriate. Big bare ass out for everyone to see and then Amanda saying that she wanted to bite it. song was crap as well. Totally cringworthy performance.
