Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone recommend the best way to make purchases in USA I used to use my credit card but there are big charges for that now and there are big charges for using the debit card too. I don't want to carry lots of cash with me so I just wanted some advice. I have an ebs debit card and an avantcard credit card.

No matter what, you will pay some charges. Minimise them by paying by card whenever possible and when you do use the ATM take larger amounts out.

Also ring your bank before you travel. They have a habit of blocking your cards if you use them in the US and don't tell them.

Find a credit card that waives the foreign transaction fee. Some "World" Mastercards like my United card does just that.

Cheapest way is to bring all cash however it's the most risky if you lose it.
