UPC Broadband not connecting all morning

So we've UPC Broadband in the house and since sometime earlier this morning it hasn't connected once. Was working fine last night. The UPC box is working and so is the basic pipe in the house. Don't know why it's not connecting.

The first two led indicators are solid and the third just keeps flashing. We've one of the UPC Cisco routers/modems. Never had a problem before. Tried turning it off for a while and that but doesn't seem to be connecting.

Anybody any ideas on what's happening. Are UPC having problems or is it just restricted to our house? The On Demand service seems to be down too. Which makes me think it's a problem on UPC's behalf. Anybody else having issues?

It was a problem on UPC's end of things. The pipe went for about half an hour as well and then later on in the day the whole lot came back. It was gone for about 6-8 hours. Problems like this becoming way to regular. Happened about 4 times in the last 9 months.

Problems here in Limerick, although just before it cut out I did hear a loud bang. No DbmV getting to the router. *cue limerick jokes below*
