The really cheap white look with blanked out windows, we walked past it during the day on Saturday before i knew what it was and just thought it looked dodge, blanked out windows are more the look for casinos or strip clubs and not for pubs inmy experience.

The Fischer Helles beer in there is my favourite with O'Hara's Pale Ale coming a close second. I love the way the sell the Fischer's in the chilled glass:)

Still don't get the craft beer thing, most of them are horrible imo and that's no just in this bar.

i liked and shared a couple weeks back and they pm'd me on facebook at around 6 that evening and told me to just show the message to the barman to recieve my free sampler. i told the barman and he didnt even look at the message but im sure if there where more people in the bar at the time he might have checked it.

the sampler was 5(i think) tumbler glasses full of the craft beers(any of my choice). quiete liked a couple of the lagers although i keep forgetting what they are called.

as a person who has drank there twice since its become the crafty fox, i will be back there because i like the place. the clientele have changed from the former bar. the beer isnt the cheapest but if it brings with it a higher class of customer then thats cool.

craft beers are just different brands thats all. you either like Heineken or carling it makes no odds they are just different brands. craft beers are just different companies. you either like a beer or you dont.

i do like the idea of craft beers as i think they taste "cleaner" you dont really get a "bad pint" of craft. well you do but its less frequent.

there are only a few that i like but thats just me. each to their own. i for one cant stand Guinness but it doesnt mean "i dont get the" Guinness "thing"

Spirits and cocktails, yup.

They don't make their own beer in the Crafty Fox. The Franciscan Well in Cork and the Porterhouse in Dublin make their own, but they'd still be the exception in Ireland.

The Fran Well, 8 Degrees, Metalman, O'Hara's, Trouble Brewing, etc are all Irish brewers. They're on tap, along with Sierra Nevada (American) and a few others. Possibly Fischers.

There's a huge range of bottles too, but I can't recall seeing Heineken, Budweiser, Coors, Miller et al. There are loads of Irish, American, Belgian, German, Scottish, etc instead.
