Hi guys, I'm building my first PC.
I've been doing a lot of research but i'd really appreciate if someone could have a look over my components and let me know if you have better suggestions or even if they would all work together!

It would help to know what the pc's main uses will be. A lot of what you have picked is overkill for a gaming rig.

hey, the main use would gaming and as a replacement for my consoles. i'd like to use it as a work computer too. I do layout design so i use adobe Photoshop, illustrator, flash and premier. i work with large file sizes and find my current work computer strains to open them.

Ah ok then, the cpu and ram choice is better for those. Good choices overall to be honest. Just a couple of things. The psu and mainboard are overkill for a single gpu system. The Asrock pro 3 or 4 would be just as good for less. You are paying extra for sli support with the extreme.

If you plan on adding a second card down the line then that's fine but I'd go with a more powerful psu if you are. A 450-500w is fine for a single gpu system with overclocking. A 650-700w for dual gpu.

That case is massive as well btw. Do you really need that much space? There is a midi tower version of it as well.

You should consider a cpu cooler as well. A cm 212 evo is a good budget option and will run cooler and quieter than the stock cooler and allow decent overclocks.

I assume you are going to order all the parts from hardwareversand? Your budget is euro not pounds is it?

Here's a similar priced sli build. The 8350 will pretty much match the performance of the 3770k for your work related programs and is not far off the performance of the 3770k in games. It allows a second card into the build though which will boost the gaming performance a fair bit. I went for the standard 250gb 840 ssd instead of the 120 pro. It's better value. You could save €40 here by going for the 8320 which should overclock to around the same levels the 8350 will with that cooler.
