Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all

    it's time to upgrade mey iPod Mini.

    Looking for PMP wint lineout as I have portable amp.

    Any suggestions?

    second hand iriver 1*0 rockbox it and its fabulous. it has optical in and out. also you can change the hard drive to a ssd it it goes kaput.

    ipod touch, you already have a lineout adapter I'd imagine? unless you're looking for something smaller?

    something smalish, forgot to add, I'm fed up with all CF, hdd, ssd upgrades so new ones has to have some mem card slot.

    What are your thoughts on Sansa Fuze?

    i have the fuze and the clip zip. both great little players. not sure about line outs though, i dont bother with dacs with portable players.

    i suppose the most promising player for you is the fiio x3. only just released so may have supply problems for a while. also it plays every format and has sd card slot and its small and it has good in built dac,and..........sure just check it out

    Looking like its going to be about 180 euro. Reasonable when compared to an ipod? Considering all the things it can do.

    Most importantly it has a woolfson dac, and the apple ones have an inferior dac.

    It should be present for my b-day, which is in July .X3 is supposed to be released then - I whink I'll wait with the decision until the X3 is released. Looks like piece of audio-art ;)

    X3 is looking fine alright, but recently rockbox'd my Classic. 160gb of FLAC perfection.
