Best day to get PPS number in Limerick

Hi All,

My GF is moving to Ireland (EU citizen) and needs to get a PPS number for work and to set up a bank a/c etc. It seems the handiest way to do this is to go to a social welfare office. Her local office will be Limerick City. Apparently the office accepts applications for PPS numbers from Monday to Thrursday, 09.00 to 12.00. Does anyone know what the best day of the week is to beat the queue or does it matter?

She will need to go to the public information hatch at your local office.

Thanks. Do you now what is the best time to get to the public information hatch, early in the morning or later?

shes better off early morning but been honest they aren't that bad in there regardes ques was in there with my younger brother last month when he finished college for a new claim and he was seen within an hour
