I doubt any petition is going to make Google do anything, they have clearly stated many times that they wont offer support because of the small marketshare. You have a Google Search app and I think that's as far as its going to go till WP pics up more market share.

Is MS not meant to be issue an update with support for the new standard that Google is using? Calendar used to work fine before, Gmail will work in the stock email app, you can get gMaps which is fairly good and don't really care about G+
