Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know! If Carroll had anything about him it's Cavani he should emulate his game on!

As much as I want Brazil to win, Paulinho and Gustavo must be the saddest midfield Brazil have had in decades.

Individually they're good but 2 players of their position should never be played together in a Brazil team. Scolari seems to have little faith in any of the more forward thinking midfielders.

I think it's the def behind them that he is concerned about more.

Im not sure how the **** does Hulk get in this team

Suarez having a go at Forlan for shooting rather than passing. Talk about the pot calling the kettle … ah, no, hang on.

    What a tackle by Cavani.

hopefully bernard will be a better addition than Hulk.

It will take a bit of effort for Brasil to win this !!

Bernard...finally a Brazil player who wants to try and pass the ball. Made a difference already.

Bernard's added a bit of spark since coming on

Cavani has been pretty mediocre in this tournament but he's working his balls off tonight.

    Fully deserved goal really.

    Uruguay look knackered.

Glorious! Fabulous by Neymar, the way a kiss should be blown, the right way, the Barca way.

Fandango dives and everyone is just too embarrassed to pay any attention to him.
Feel a bit sorry for Uruguay now.

Neymar would sicken my ****e watching him. Same diving rubbish clutching his face in the last game.

I hate neymar already, suits barca so much.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,097 ✭✭✭roanoke

Somewhere in the world Cristiano Ronaldo is watching this and thinking "Nice! I'm not going to be the most hated footballer in Europe next season".

its all over ! Brasil go through !! GREAT !!

Lawro thinks that Uruguay foul is clever because it gives Muslera a chance to get back in goal, not that clever since the time was up!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,889 ✭✭✭✭klose

Disappointingly poor game, cant believe Uruguay made no subs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Neymars diving didnt cost Uruguay though, they were just pretty poor really. Not much attacking intent deapite the players there.

Ronaldo won't be even the most hated at Madrid if they sign Suarez.

Spain will wipe the floor with Brazil, imo ;)

As talented as neymar is his manager needs to slap that cheating out of him asap.

They made one, through injury though. Shocking game, Uruguay looked wrecked. Spain(more than likely) Brazil final Sunday night, doesn't sound much better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,775 ✭✭✭✭kfallon

I don't think Spain have much to worry about in the semis or the final!

I think next year it'll be Germany and Argentina who give the holders most to think about.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

I know they're great players, but Neymar, Busquets and Jordi Alba in the same team is really going to be hard to watch. They all get up to it.

Who'll win the playoff between Italy v Uruguay?
