Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ****ing awful

He probably gave him the benefit of the doubt given that Neymar clearly dived and it was far from a goalscoring opportunity.

It has to be yellow IMO because he's not favourite to even reach the through ball.
I'd have to see it again but he was off running and is very quick. Hard to know. Looked a good shout for a red to me.

Sraight into their faces? You mean putting them under pressure. God help Spain if they cant handle teams actually not being cowardly and standing off them.

This is the beautiful game, played by the country playing the beautiful way?

I wouldn't have been surprised to see a red as it was last man through on goal. The dive was O.T.T but still a foul.

Im not disputing the foul but the behaviour of a so called world class player this tournament is simply despicable. I certainly wont be rooting for him to do well in his career.

In terms of class and ability he will never be a Messi.

The ref obviously didn't think it a dive.

Did Sergio Ramos bang Mark Lawerson's missus? Lawerson seems to have a vendetta against the bloke.

What did he say about Pepe?

There was contact but after that he kept going for a bit and then he launches himself unnaturally into the air and comes crashing to the ground, it's silly and unnecessary and everyone knows it's a dive.

What? Brazil have always put teams under pressure because they want the ball back. You cant have the ball for 90 minutes.

It's quite literally a toss up between him and Houghton.

You mean Ray 'Hulk may be more physically imposing than Alba' Houghton.
The pitch is cutting up like they have 22 horses out there.

    Messi's no stranger to ****-acting.

I'd say the reason he doesn't do it more is nothing to do with being a saint and more to do with him being better off playing on, particularly given that he can sortof bounce back up off the ground so quickly.

Gustavo is the best player on the pitch right now.

Spain really shítting themselves when Brazil are pressing them.

Neymar's diving is shocking stuff. He has get some kind of check on it but nothing I haven't seen from Italy. Messi will probably be on the out now.

Brazil are playing well but i dont think they can keep this momentum up. Spain will get to grips with this game and turn the screw. Brazil got a lucky goal from some keystone cops defending which admittedly is Spains achilles heel. However if they get the passing game together then they will get the chances.

I m enjoying this tournament in general due to my fondness for Brazil and how many people write them off all the time.

    Spain FTW.

Element of 'Holland 2010' about Brazil tonight in parts.
Ref is shíte. That was no free  Spain very shaky at the back though and their goalkeeper is well and truly finished.

This crowding around the ref from both teams is embarrassing. Book the lot of them and they'll stop doing it in future.

Man Germany are fair going to give Spain trouble next year if they catch them.
I miss Brian Kerr saying PeeKey and Raimus btw they'd be better off with lads named that than the 2 there tonite.

Is Cesc injured? Badly needed tonight. Brazil are like a soccer eqivalent of Donegal tonight with the intensity they are bringing to the game. To their credit theyve done their homework though i still think Spain will have a spell where they capitalise
