Things to do in Tuam

I'm unemployed and bored, basically, and looking for things to do in and around Tuam.

Anything at all is a good suggestion. I've looked at volunteering, but there don't seem to be many options- I emailed the soup kitchen and got no reply

Anything sporty would be great. I run on my own and play sport the rest of the year but that's done for the summer now.

I'm losing my marbles a little bit, need to get out of the house and meet other humans

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I know that when my young fella was in Scouts they were always crying out for leaders (I volunteered but my lad said if I joined he'd leave:o). Scouts always looked like good craic to me, and the other leaders were lovely, really sound.
