Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Zambrano Case - Advice and Cover letter

    Hello,

I'm a single mother of an Irish born child. I'm from Mexico and my baby's father is Irish. He only register the baby's birth but has no interest on relating to him. I'm in Ireland with an expired visa and want to remain here legally. The only thing I want is to be able to work and provide for my baby once he'll have a better life here than back home.

I'd like to know how to apply under the Zambrano case (my son already holds an Irish passport). If anyone has an example of cover letter as well, I'd be very thankful.

Also, does anyone know how long it takes to get the stamp 4 visa?

Thank you very much for your help.

I am very sorry, but we are not able to give legal advice on this forum.

However, I recommend that you get in touch with the Immigrant Council of Ireland here: http://www.immigrantcouncil.ie/

There may also be other representative bodies you can contact such as http://iiicenter.org/ and http://www.nascireland.org/. I have no idea about the services offered by the latter two but they seem to offer legal services.
