The goal of the album was to acoustically recreate the strong nostalgic feelings I have referred to old computer hard- and software. Tracks 1, 2 and 5 to 8 are compositions I recorded mainly with an Ensoniq SQ80. Track 3 was made completely of guitar feedback oscillated with an Roland RE-201 Space Echo. Track 4 was recorded the classic way with Guitar, Bass and Drums. Track 9 is very experimental and composed with a lot of different techniques and instruments. The over 30 minutes long Track 10 is a combination of the Sounds of the Ensoniq SQ80, extreme audio-sample processing and reprocessing and dozens of different techniques and instruments. Some sounds were processed through hundreds of steps until random audio sources became ambient sound spheres. In parts of the track its documents some of the techniques itself in a manner of breakdown processes.
