Hi Rossi, unfortunately the older es range is now a finished line as the new ones are out and in stock.

My suggestion would be to look at 2 TV's. One is within budget and the other is slightly outside.

The Philips 40PFL8007 is a model was initially launched at £1300 but is now just £799.95.

This is essentially an 800Hz PMR screen (equivalent to true 400Hz) and is a passive 3D TV which means no expensive glasses, is beautifully styled, built in wifi and would be one of the best value screens that we would have although the model is coming to an end so I'm not sure how much longer we'll have supply.

The other is the new Samsung UE40F6500 which I really like too.

It's slightly lesser spec on the refresh at 400Hz CMR but it's really sharp and vivid image, with the latest smart controls and a more comprehensive smart system than the Philips. It's a beautiful TV but is comes in at £899.95 which is above the budget. 3D on this is active which provides a better 3D image and the glasses are relatively inexpensive at £29.95 for 2 pairs.

Let me know what you think of either of these models.
