Balbriggan Summerfest: will there be a parade?

    Hey all,

    I've had a look at the program for the Summerfest in Balbriggan, and it seems that they have an opening by a celebrity down for Friday at 7.30. In the past years, there has been a parade beforehand, but there is no mention this year.

    Does anyone know if there'll be a parade going through the town before the Celebrity Opening?

    There is no parade this year. Not sure of the reason behind it.
    All the events on Friday evening are taking place in the car park on Quay Street, followed by the fireworks at the beach at approx: 22:30

    It was Jamie Hagan, formerly Leinster Rugby and now with London Irish.

    Local lad ,

    by all accounts the summerfest was a massive success.
