Most of you probably know this, but I wasn't aware quite how widespread free public wifi was in the city centre.

This from the Cork City council website:

    WiFi Zones

Almost all of the public streets and open spaces in the city centre now offer free WiFi. These include Paul Street, French Church Street, Careys Lane, Patrick Street, Grand Parade, Bishop Lucy Park, Emmet Place, The Boardwalk and Corn Market Street.
