So I've just bought myself a new (to me) car and as it sits in the underground at work a lot of the day but in a spot that's still exposed to the elements, dust and dirt will rapidly accumulate.

Anywhere decent and fairly priced in the Sandyford-ish area that I can bring it to for a wash - preferably hand washed as machines are known to cause swirls and paint damage

    Cheers

Any hand washes around the area will also cause swirl marks and damage also as they all use sponges to wash the cars. And generally, the sponge cleans multiple cars and sits in a bucket of dirty water with all the grit from the other cars.

I've never used them, but your best bet is to head to Elite Auto Clean: http://eliteautoclean.com/
They come with a fantastic reputation

Did you ever go to that place in I think it was Tallaght that were offering a cheap mini valet?

OP, I normally do it myself but have used Churchtown Car Wash a few times. I think it's €13 for hand wah, dry and blackened tyres. ;)

Nope, never went. I'm too particular to let most people near my car to be honest :o Something like using a gloss dashboard polish instead of a matt one would drive me mad....and I've seen it done before!

Try this place, http://speedysteam.ie/. They are located in Bewleys Hotel Car park.

    Now for the vague bits:
There used to be a valet place in the Dunnes Stores underground car park but I am not too sure if they are still there.

Only other place I can thing of is the Maxol Station on the Sandyford Road. Not 100% sure if this is a Self Service cleaning place or Automatic only
