    It was a lovely day in Castlebar with no showers and good sunny spells all afternoon. Fresh westerly breeze,no doubt a little to blame for my sunburn!

    Have to agree, we have had 20 days in June so far and you would have to say approx 14 of those have been what you would call fair to good summer days.Much better than last 6 Junes already.I'm sure someone will come on with some damning stat that disproves my point but I have enjoyed June in Dublin anyway.

    The stats actually would bear you out - for the Dublin area anyhow, cant speak for the rest of the country.

    Here's the last thirty days sun as recorded by my SunRecorder in Loughlinstown which has only measured one completely overcast day in the last thirty (the 10th of this month when I had computer issues and only captured a partial recording on the day, both Dublin and Casement Airports measured around 10-11 hours that day though).

    So,as you can see, June has been pretty fantastic so far :)
