I live int he north and have an Orange pay as you go sim in a Sony Ericsson J10i2 handset.

Last weekend I was across the border for a few days and ever since my phone has continuously given the message:

Message waiting Too many messages on SIM card. Delete some to free up space.

However, I have deleted all messages and this is still appearing. Is there a special way to remove these messages on the sim or how do I get rid of this error?Is it related to me being across the border or is that a coincidence?Any help appreciated, thanks.
