    Are the Council ever going to do anything with it,? would they not turn it into a park for the local area. seams like a total waste of something that can be used for a better purpose for the community.

    Which part of Coolock Lane? Woodlawn or Oak Park side? Wasteland everywhere there :)

    If you mean the site opposite Aulden Grange, it's owned by a developer not the council. They requested planning permission for a billion apartments, some shops and a leisure centre years ago but nothing came of it.

    I think they were about to buy the old DPT site from whatever local authority owns it but IIRC it fell through when the travelers moved in.

    Whats the DPT site.?

    Dublin Port Tunnel - the site used as a storage area during construction of the tunnel. It's the west side of the site opposite Aulden Grange and at the top of the roundabout.
