Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello, I dropped my ipod touch a few times and the screen cracked. It was fine for a few weeks but then the screen started to go. At first it just went white, but now theres no light at all its just black. The ipod still turns on, the computer recognises it, it makes all the normal sounds, it updates fine but the screen is just black I can't see anything. I presume the core components are fine my question is whether replacing the LCD will fix the problem or might there be more complex issues that an amateur such as myself could not possibly fix on my own? I was going to buy a screen repair kit online as sending it to a repair shop is too expensive so its not an option. Any guidance much appreciated:)

I'd imagine the flex is just unattached from the logic board.
Just to let you know the iPod touch4 is quite a difficult repair, a decent shop/repairer should be able to do it for about €60
