Bo could be getting his marching orders over his antics at the weekend but as his Daddy is in the background staff and his brother is a solid worker than he might be OK

Goldberg for a mania match I'd say and his raw or SD return will be epic I say love or hate him (hope they do a Shane McMahon 2016 type return with him). Don't think Kurt Angle will be back by mania 33 though

Anyone else think the camera work has been getting worse in the last couple of years. Constantly missing spots and moments like kofi royal rumble spot and bayley at battleground for example

AJ's debut was ruined at the Royal Rumble.

But it made Roman look strong (at squinting)

So a fan put together a load of Youtube videos? Has he/she paid TNA, RoH, NJPW for using their footage? What is it about? Is it a match comp? Is it an interview and clips? The video literally tells us nothing so Im gonna say its muck and wont be on youtube for long if rights to vids havnt been paid

That post comes across as very bitter, LeeJM. A quick look at their site (http://www.fite.tv/) shows that they have a deal with TNA, ROH, Evolve and other wrestling/MMA outlets. It looks to be a match compilation of Styles to promote their app.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,469 ✭✭✭LeeJM

Didnt realise they had a website Jay. It just looked like a fan comp. All it says is directed by FITE in awful cheap looking font. I have heard of Fite Network but I would have thought they would have mentioned how to order the dvd or vod. Dunno how it comes across as bitter? I was asking genuine questions and then answered the question that the OP asked.

Just listening to them there on RAW and they are talking about a wrestler winning to move himself up the rankings.

Maybe they should bring back a ranking system I'm sure I remember them having those ranking systems back in the 80's.

A top ten ranking system for both singles belts then at least the random matches they have each week could be used as storyline ranking matches.

What was the point of that match Sami Zayn vs Jinder Mahal means nothing to anyone.

It's something that's always annoyed me about the weekly matches we see on TV. For the most part they are pointless and really they should have people earing title shots in between ppvs but I do understand why they do it.

It allows them the freedom to change course at any stage but for a viewer it makes the weekly stuff hold no weight at all. I guess it would require too much effort to do it in a way that makes any bit of sense.

and he got escorted off the plane and verbally abused the pilot and flight attendents. He was singing the circle of life really loud

always came across as a jackass

It's amusing if you weren't actually on the plane to be fair.

Is it just me was a lot of blame for Benoit's neurological issues been pinned on his use of the flyin headbutt? It's odd, because seeing as the head doesn't actually connect, the damage is no more than any top rope move. Might it be a case of looking for a scape goat, i.e., find something plausible that only he did, pin it on that, and avoid admitting that the damage was actually inflicted doing the stuff everyone else was doing.

His head connected with the opponent's shoulder or chest.

Or his head bounced off the mat which would shaken the brain up big time.

Benoit didn't really protect himself when doing the Headbutt. I still remember him doing the Headbutt off the top of a steel cage. Harley Race has gone on to say that he regrets creating the move because of the effects it has on the spine and neck.

Well Harley didn't always do it off the top rope though. Harley shouldn't feel guilty for others doing it and adding a dangerous element to it known as height.

I know they made the ring less like a slab of concrete after the KOTR 1998 and mankind and all that but it wasn't like a pillow either.

Shot in the dark but I'd imagine it was to make Zayn look strong and keep a few dominant wins in the back of fans minds for when he challenges Owens for the title. Would be my guess anyways.

I see Monty Brown stated on Twitter that he was offered a WWE contract but declined.

It got me thinking about TNA alumni from their glory years coming to WWE. AJ has been (pardon the pun) phenomenal since he arrived. Who else could still be worthy of a spot on the roster?

Two standouts for me are Abyss and Christoper Daniels. Abyss could probably be a bit too little too late but I would kill to see "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels crop up in NXT.
Loved him. His threeway with Sytles and Joe is still there in my top 3 matches ever.

More of a fantasy type thing of taking them when they were in their prime in TNA and planting them in current NXT I would love to see MCMG there, and Petey Williams.

Would love to see Shelley and Sabin in NXT, that'd be a serious nostalgia moment there.

Petey Williams would be great too so they could reform Team Canada with him, EY and Roode in time for Takeover Toronto.

Shame Petey is retired though, kills any chance of that happening.

Magnus had a decent run as champion I think.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,171 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Shelley and Sabin and still early 30's-ish, still plenty of time for them to end up in WWE/NXT.

  • Registered Users Posts: 60,626 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

I'd love to see the Fallen Angel get a run on NXT.

A bit of a dream booking for me would be AJ with Daniels & Kazarian vs Finn & The Club in a cross brand War Games.

I was disappointed in his title reign tbh. They built the guy up nicely, making him out to be the future, they had him beat Sting, then he went on to win the TNA World Championship. All good so far. Then he had that b*ll**** match with AJ Styles, where it must of took 8 guys to help him defeat AJ Styles, along with Dixie at ringside trying to use everything in her power to stop Styles from winning including using two referees. Magnus won, but he looked so weak that it kind've killed his title reign. After that his title reign just became underwhelming, and now I think it's been one of the most forgettable title reigns of the past few years.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

TNA has dealt with departing wrestlers so oddly down the years. They do more to put the guy who's leaving over then the guy who sends him packing.

That AJ and Magnus stuff was a total trainwreck. Magnus was a dead champion from day one.

I'm a fan of Ospreay, but he won't be wrestling by the time he's 30 if he keeps going the way he is. He wrestles every match at 100% so it's no wonder he's already in awful shape injury wise. He needs to learn to slow down and take it easy for the smaller events and cards.
