It's strange that Becky is probably the most over of the women, in that she gets the most positive reaction that I've noticed, yet she's only held one title in the WWE.

It's one of those things that can be looked at positvely or negatively. Negatively you could say she'll never be "the woman" but on the positive it does mean they view her in very high regard. Like shes always featured in some capacity and know shes over, meaning they view her as the reliable workhorse that can get them out of any jam and can probably (if she chooses to) have as long a run as she wants.

She seems to do a lot of PR stuff for them as well so I’d say she’ll be there as long as she wants to be. If this Horsewomen stuff comes to fruition as is rumoured she’ll also be part of a high profile match at Mania.

Alicia Fox has consistently made the best of the opportunities given to her and has been entertaining while at it. She deserves the shot she's getting now.

Anyway....Flair for me is the best they have. So naturally gifted. Promos perhaps her weakness but history has proved they can come on in time. Her natural gifts can't.

I've been thinking about Vince Mcmahon a lot lately and have come to the conclusion that he hates giving the fans what they want, even if what they want flies with his own taste. A hipster if you will.

He has a man in Braun Strowman that ticks all the boxes in what Vince desires in a top star. Over with the fans and has the look he desires, and entertaining at the least in his promos if not simplistic.

Yet he's dicked around in pulling the trigger. Was truly the man to beat Lesnar but bottled it, and now has him half feuding with Miz and Kane. Two superstars he shouldn't be wasting time on.

Just awful booking and the bizarre version of how he booked Reigns; taking too long to pull the trigger as opposed to a slow build. Worse than a slow build; a meandering build.

Another conspiracy theory (:pac:): he won't clear Bryan because he knows it would be detrimental to his long term plans.

She does a real nice Northern Lights Suplex other than that literally the only thing I can remember her doing was throwing a cardboard box in Nia Jax face which was thankfully harmless but unintentionally hilarious.

Well he just made AJ Styles vs Lesnar; the fans sure want that more than Mahal vs Brock. All the other changes made for Survivor Series look to have improved the card significantly too. I'm liking his current mood swing.

You can tease the fans without actually following through; we both know who's winning between AJ and Lesnar. Vince only shifted plans to get more buys.

They're totally screwing up with Bobby Roode

Had so much momentum when he debuted

That was pretty incredible! Alicia Fox may be the worst actor in WWE atm. I guess maybe her character is a brat but it's embarassing porn-level acting :P

I've found Fox to be more entertaining that Sasha or Bayley ever have been. She can't go in the ring like them but she actually has some character and can be funny.

Sasha and Bayley are painfully dull. What exactly is a Legit Boss?

A legit boss is something that works much better as a heel

Same deal with the Miz. I knew he'd be the bigger star between him and Nitro.

Whatever it is, it should be a heel character.

Should also have debuted as heel. I know he gets cheered regardless but he should be a slimey smarmy pr*ck.

This kind of thing comes up a lot post call up from NXT.

I wonder do they have real momentum or full sail bubble momentum? While it is obvious American Alpha were over (based on what I read here and reactions outside full sail) someone like Roode had a good entrance but a lot of people were unimpressed with his work in NXT.

Vince isn't the one that won't clear Bryan. It is Doctor Maroon's medical assessment. There's no way they can go against their own doctor's opinion, especially with all of these lawsuits hanging over them from former employees.

Yet there's Kurt Angle clearing their tests.

Was hearing about a recent Bryan quote saying he felt 85% likely to wrestle again but only 15% likely to be cleared by the WWE.

so... that'd mean that next year in Daniel Bryan's mind he is more likely than not going to be wrestling somewhere such as ROH (NJPW, Indies etc)

While Bryan is likely to appear okay to go now with all the rest, he must be in a dangerous place if he gets any new injury to his brain. Dementia etc takes years to advance but he has to be in the high risk category if a WWE doctor is saying DO NOT CLEAR that man.

It puzzles me and worries me for his long term health, I wish he could move on.

This is the same.company that actively undermines the doctor that exposed the issue with concussions. Baron Corbin experienced it.

And Bryan didn't. Vince is a hands on owner but he's not heading the medical team.

Wwe are also getting sued by many wrestlers over concussions another reason why bryan who has had highly publicised problems so i guess they dont want to take a chance. I do wonder if the lawsuits were dropped would he be cleared.

I do fear for him that something bad will happen when he starts wrestling again.

I've been listening through the NGP Podcast's back catalogue for the guts of 4 months (I found the first few episodes a bit dry, but IIRC Paul's impersonation of Paul Bearer saying, "DOUBLE DEEP, DOUBLE WIIIIIIIDE~!" convinced me to keep going :pac:), and I'm halfway through their 2-parter on Survivor Series '97.

I have to think - what if Bret dropped the belt, not to Undertaker, Austin and definitely not Shawn, but Ken Shamrock? OK, OK, the NGP guys refer to him sarcastically as "Charisma Ken", and then you have DX taking off in the weeks leading up to Bret's departure, but perhaps the WWF could have made something out of his MMA experience?

Bryan did clear their tests. They chose to ignore it.

Another thing is that CTE isn't testable or treatable yet while the subject is alive, the only way you can look into it is through an autopsy. So put simply WWE, the doctors clearing Bryan or Bryan himself have no idea what they're dealing with or what the consequences could be, there's just no answer and the only smart call is to not take the chance. Bryan possibly wrestling again is an interesting story and will be must-see if it happens, but I'll also be pretty uncomfortable watching it tbh. I'd rather not see him, have him stay healthy and accept his position.

Common misconception. Angle physically is in good knick when he looks after himself. It was his drug issues that kept him out of a WWE ring for so long, not his neck.

I think that now that James Storm has left TNA he would be a good fit for the new NWA as someone to give legitimacy to the NWA title. Although Storm v Storm would be weird to read a report on.
